Welcome to my Web site
I'm an award-winning freelance medical and health writer and editor. I've won more than a dozen writing and journalism awards for my work.
As a writer and editor, I'm passionate about good health and wellness, conscientious medicine, and the art of the English language. I've written for dozens of consumer health magazines, trade medical magazines, Web sites for health clinicians and medical journals over the last 19 years. I also have expertise in writing advisory board reports for health communications and pharmaceutical companies. I've helped write several consumer health books and served as editor and project manager for several medical books for clinicians.
I'm also a published essayist and poet, and in my spare time I write home and design articles for national magazines.
